CBRE Investment Management Welcomes Dauren Dayembayev as Head of Asset Management for the firm’s Private Infrastructure Team

CBRE Investment Management today announced Dauren Dayembayev has joined the firm as Managing Director, Asset Management, Private Infrastructure.
In this role, Dayembayev will lead the Asset Management team and, together with the broader investment team, will be responsible for securing portfolio company performance and driving value creation across CBRE IM's Private Infrastructure portfolio through areas such as talent, operational excellence, digital & data, sustainability and risk management.
Dayembayev will be based in Toronto, join the firm’s Direct Private Infrastructure Investment Committee and report to Stephen Dowd, Chief Investment Officer – Private Infrastructure Strategies.

Dayembayev joined CBRE Investment Management from IMCO, where he served as Managing Director of Asset Management and focused on driving value creation across a global portfolio of direct investments. Prior to IMCO, Dayembayev was a senior member of BCG Transform, BCG’s special unit for corporate transformations and turnarounds, where he led numerous performance improvement projects across energy and transport sectors. Earlier in his career, Dayembayev worked as a consultant in the audit and advisory practices of KPMG and PwC.

Dayembayev earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Technology & Operations from INSEAD Business School in France and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology from York University in Canada.
