Vikas Puri is the Global Head of Data Engineering at CBRE Investment Management, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s global data strategy, data engineering, and the Data Cloud Platform organizations. CBRE Investment Management is recognized as one of the world’s leading managers of real assets, focusing on delivering sustainable investment solutions.
Before joining CBRE IM in 2024, Vikas served as the Head of Data Strategy, Engineering, Cloud, and Analytics at PGIM Fixed Income. There, he developed a comprehensive cloud data vision and strategy, implemented the company's first cloud-based data platform, and fostered significant investments in data technologies to enhance product development and market expansion.
Vikas has also held senior roles in data and analytics at Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and Bear Stearns, where he spearheaded numerous transformational projects in data architecture, analytics, and risk management. His extensive experience includes managing large teams, optimizing data platforms, and driving efficiency through innovative data solutions.
Vikas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, India.
