Professional Experience

Vaughan Wallace is a Managing Director on CBRE Investment Management’s Private Infrastructure team, focused on the direct infrastructure investment program. Based in Sydney, Vaughan joined the firm in 2024 and brings more than 25 years’ of principal investing experience in a wide variety of infrastructure sub sectors across APAC, Europe and Canada.

Vaughan’s experience covers the full lifecycle of infrastructure investment, from deal origination, structuring and execution, through to long term asset management to drive long-term value creation. Vaughan has served as a member of numerous boards of directors in the sector, including as chair.

Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Vaughan held the role of Head of APAC for Amber Infrastructure. Prior to that, Vaughan held senior leadership positions with Capella Capital, Babcock & Brown and ABN AMRO.  Throughout his career Vaughan has originated and executed infrastructure investments with a combined value in excess of A$15 billion.

Vaughan holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA. Vaughan is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a former member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
