Ty Gerschick

Ty Gerschick is the Head of Property and Fund Financing for the Americas Direct Real Estate platform. He is responsible for debt capital markets activities across the Americas portfolio, including developing and executing financing and interest rate hedging strategies for fund vehicles and separate account clients. Ty also oversees the operational management of the Americas loan and derivatives portfolio.

Ty has held prior roles at the firm, focused on acquisitions and overseeing disposition transactions. Since joining CBRE Investment Management in 2015, he has led or been directly involved in the acquisition, financing or disposition of over $20 billion of investments across the U.S.

Prior to joining the firm, Ty spent eight years at GE Capital Real Estate in various capacities, including equity asset management and debt origination. He began his career in the industry in 2006.

Ty earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida.
