Steven Storrs

Steven Storrs is the Head of Portfolio Management for CBRE Investment Management’s Indirect Private Real Estate Strategies. Based in London, Steven is responsible for the oversight of the Indirect portfolio management teams, setting top-down strategy for key mandates and selecting suitable investments brought forward by the regional investment teams.

Prior to joining the firm in March 2022, Steven was employed by Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets in Dallas from 2018 to 2022 as the Head of Portfolio Management and the Head of North America and Asia Pacific Asset Management, overseeing the Real Estate Capital Partners credit investment portfolio and other strategic initiatives.

Prior to this, Steven worked with Goldman Sachs from 2014 to 2018 in London, as the Head of EMEA Portfolio Management overseeing the European portfolio of balance sheet equity and credit investments in commercial real estate. He also served as a Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management for Real Estate in the U.S., where he focused on opportunistic acquisitions and asset management, predominantly on behalf of the Special Situations Group.

Steven was also employed by Fortress Investment Group from 2012 to 2014, where he was responsible for managing equity and structured debt investments within the Credit Funds business.

Steven has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics and Modern American History from Brown University. Steven is also a Senior Manager under the FCA’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) and holds the SMF3.
