
Rik Eertink is President – EMEA Real Estate Division for CBRE Investment Management. In this role, Rik is responsible for all elements of investment execution in the EMEA region, including acquisition, disposition, asset management, development, redevelopment and asset finance.
Rik is an experienced retail fund manager and previously managed the CBRE Dutch Retail Fund, the European Shopping Center Funds series and the CBRE Nordic Property Fund. In this combined role, he was responsible for an AUM base of over €4 billion across Europe. Rik began his career in the real estate industry and joined CBRE Investment Management in 2004. He previously worked as a Director of the European Retail Platform, then transferred to the Nordics as Head of Asset Management before taking the role of Country Manager for the region. His leadership experience in different parts of the direct real estate business give him a wide-ranging perspective on the business and inform his approach to opportunities and challenges. Between 2017 and 2019, Rik completed approximately €1.5 billion in acquisitions and over €1 billion in disposals in both the Nordics and the Netherlands, as well as a large number of asset repositioning projects.

A champion of the real assets field, Rik focuses on deeply listening to clients to determine their needs and desires and taking decisive action to find ideal solutions.
Rik earned a postgraduate Master of Real Estate degree from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Master’s degree in Real Estate & Housing from Delft University. He has been an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2011.
