Professional Experience
Ray Young is a Senior Director on the Logistics Asset Management team within CBRE Investment Management’s Americas Logistics Operator Division. He is responsible for the firm’s logistics assets in the Western Region.
Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Ray was employed by Cohen Asset Management, where he was Senior Vice President charged with overseeing the operations for the company’s Arizona and California industrial holdings.
Previously, Ray spent 17 years with International Airport Centers (“IAC”) holding the position of Managing Director. During his tenure with IAC, Ray oversaw a portfolio of directly-owned, institutional-quality industrial properties in seven states with a gross asset value of over a $1 billion. Ray began his career in the industry in 2000.
Ray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Ray is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Wisconsin Graaskamp Center for Real Estate and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
