Professional Experience
Niels Kokkeel is Head of Operations for EMEA Direct Real Estate. In this role, Niels drives operational excellence and efficiency by leveraging the firm’s in-house and external service providers at scale, enhancing the culture of data ownership and data-driven decision making, and accelerating innovation and technology solutions.
He identifies areas for improvement in operational performance and oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of operating processes to create operational efficiencies, enhance productivity, establish best practices and improve business insights.
Niels joined CBRE Investment Management in 1999 and has held different roles over the years. He was Head of Corporate Development, in which he led the restructuring of different Pan-European investment solutions as well as M&A activity.
Niels earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the Hogeschool Haarlem and successfully completed the IPF Investment Education Programme.
