Professional Experience
Michael Ness is Head of Strategic Accounts for CBRE Investment Management. For each Strategic Account, he works in close collaboration with a designated Account Management team to define and deliver on growth plans tailored to client objectives.
As real estate continues to develop into a truly global asset class, Michael is deeply invested in developing long-term partnerships with clients. He enjoys working with clients and colleagues internationally, navigating and connecting a variety different business cultures and conventions. With a deep knowledge of the global real assets markets and clear strategies for delivering outperformance, Michael is passionate about collaborating with his team to bring the best of the platform to clients’ portfolios.
Michael joined CBRE Investment Management in 1997. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of Direct Real Estate Separate Accounts and Head of UK and Head of EMEA Separate Accounts.
He has worked on many separate account mandates since joining CBRE Investment Management, gaining experience managing a wide range of property portfolios.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked at Edward Symmons & Partners. He began his career in the real estate industry in 1995.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Estate Management from the University of the West of England. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Investment Property Forum.
