Matt Tepper, based in the Boston office, joined CBRE Investment Management in 2009. As Head of Americas, Indirect Real Estate Strategies, Matt is responsible for indirect investment activity in the region including sourcing, executing investments and asset management. Matt has been responsible for the investment of over $6 billion in equity on behalf of Indirect Real Estate Strategies clients including over $4 billion in joint-ventures, programmatic ventures, co-investments and secondary investments. Matt is involved in setting the Indirect investment strategy and is a member of the Indirect Real Estate Strategies Executive Committee and Investment Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Matt was an Associate at Wachovia Securities in the Private Equity-Real Estate Investment Banking Division working on capital formation for real estate operators and fund sponsors. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Analyst with New England Pension Consultants with responsibility for client real estate portfolios. Matt began his career in real estate in 2002.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Union College and is a Certified Person under the FCA’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR).
