Professional Experience
Mark Kouters is the Portfolio Manager for a European value-add strategy. In this capacity, Mark is responsible for management of operating partners, portfolio management, support on deal structuring and deal execution.
Mark is also Fund Manager for two other European strategies. He is responsible for managing the portfolios in terms of asset management and strategic portfolio management including disposals. He is also involved in investor relations.
Mark joined the CBRE Investment Management Corporate Development team in 2013. Within the Corporate Development team Mark was responsible for all new business matters including M&A activities, as well as the roll out and structuring of new fund initiatives.
Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Mark worked at Composition Capital Partners, most recently as Interim Fund Director Asia where he was overseeing the team’s sourcing and monitoring activities of 16 existing investments/ investment programs through 13 local operating partners in the Asian region. Most of them were opportunistic in nature.
Mark earned a Master’s degree in Real Estate Management & Development from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
