Professional Experience
Josh Raines is the Head of Product Management for CBRE Investment Management, based in New York. In this role, Josh is responsible for driving the firm’s product strategy and management efforts, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance investment performance and operational efficiency.
Previously, Josh was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he led the data and technology strategy for the GS Growth Equity business, overseeing the entire investment lifecycle from deal origination to portfolio management and value creation. He also spearheaded initiatives in Data Driven Investing, Deal Manufacturing, and Fund Manufacturing within Goldman’s Private Alternatives businesses.
Before his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Josh served as a Director of Data Initiatives at Insight Partners, collaborating closely with Growth Equity investors to optimize their sourcing processes. He began his career at BlackRock, where he focused on client relationships in the Securities Lending business and analytics for Fixed Income mutual funds.
Josh graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also minored in Engineering Entrepreneurship and held leadership roles in campus organizations.
