Professional Experience
Jeroen de Grunt is a Fund Manager for CBRE Investment Management and a member of the EMEA Leadership Team.
Jeroen, who joined the company in 2014, previously served as the portfolio manager for one of the firm’s pan-European funds and headed the portfolio management team for the direct real estate portfolio of a separate account client, managing a portfolio with AUM of EUR 2.4 billion, as at Q1 2019.
Prior to joining CBRE IM, Jeroen worked for Bouwinvest Real Estate Investment Management as a Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for the indirect real estate investment portfolio of the Dutch Construction Workers Pension fund in Asia Pacific and part of their European portfolio with a total Net Asset Value of approximately EUR 450 million. Before that he worked for KPMG Corporate Finance in Amsterdam, where he headed the business line Real Estate within KPMG Corporate Finance.
Jeroen began his real estate career in 2001 at Bouwfonds IM, initiating and structuring funds for institutional and private clients investing in Dutch and German real estate.
Jeroen holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Management and Development of the faculty Architecture, Building and Planning at Eindhoven University of Technology.
