Jeffrey Selinger is Head of the Residential Operator Division for CBRE Investment Management’s Americas Direct Real Estate business. In this role, Jeffrey leads CBRE IM's residential transactions and asset management activities across the firm’s core, core-plus, value-add, and development strategies in the U.S.
Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Jeffrey served as Chief Investment Officer at JSB Capital Group, which transitioned from GMF Capital. As a senior leader, Jeffrey has managed the full breadth of the real estate lifecycle—including market selection, sourcing, asset management, financing, and disposition – in markets across the U.S. Additionally, Jeffrey has spearheaded various corporate and business development efforts and led strategic initiatives to introduce technology platforms to enhance operational efficiency. Prior to his role at JSB, Jeffrey was Managing Director of Acquisitions at Vanbarton Group where Jeffrey sourced, underwrote and executed equity and credit investment opportunities. Jeffrey began his career in 2004 in investment banking at Merrill Lynch.
Jeffrey earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
