Experience

Jaap Snellen is Head of Asset Management Offices & Logistics for CBRE Investment Management in the Netherlands. He is responsible for the management and performance of office and logistics assets in the Netherlands. As Head of Asset Management, Jaap guides the team on the many active asset management projects, such as the development of the World Trade Center Utrecht (30,000 square meters), the redevelopment and extension of the World Trade Center Amsterdam (50,000 square meters) and the refurbishment and repositioning of the Delftse Poort in Rotterdam (65,000 square meters).

Prior to this role, Jaap has worked as an Asset Manager Offices for CBRE Investment Management Netherlands. As Asset Manager, Jaap was responsible for the successful redevelopment of the nieuwAmsterdam building in Amsterdam  (40,000 square meters) and the repositioning and leasing of UP office building in Amsterdam (19,000 square meters). He has worked for CBRE Investment Management (former ING Real Estate Investment Management) since 2006. Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, he worked for three years for BPF Bouwinvest as Asset Manager Offices. Jaap started his professional real estate career in 2000 for Aberdeen Property Investors (then Celexa Real Estate Investment Management), where he had various roles as intern, researcher and Assisting Asset Manager on a mixed portfolio (offices, retail and logistics).

Jaap earned a cum laude Master in Real Estate from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and a Master of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Amsterdam.
