Professional Experience
Hilke Nijmeijer is Senior Portfolio Manager for CBRE Investment Management’s European residential strategy. In this role, Hilke is responsible for the portfolio and impact strategy, as well as the acquisition plan of the residential assets and set up of the wider pan European residential approach since May 2019.
Hilke started her career in 2005 as a management trainee of ING Real Estate and worked on several projects within ING Real Estate Development, ING Real Estate Finance and ING Real Estate Investment Management. This included the launch of the French residential strategy in 2008. Afterwards she worked as Asset Manager for the Dutch residential strategy (then ING Real Estate Investment Management) for four years. In the period from 2011-2018 she worked as retail asset manager and, later on, as Head of Asset Management for the Dutch retail organization.
Hilke earned a Master of Science title (cum laude) in Real Estate Management and Development at Eindhoven University and earned her IPF Diploma at the Investment Education Programme offered by IPF and Cambridge University. Furthermore she is co-chair of the ULI Europe Affordable Living Council.
