Daisuke Hottais a Senior Research Analyst for the Listed Real Assets Securities Global Infrastructure Research Team and is responsible for evaluating listed infrastructure companies in the transportation and utility sectors in Japan, as well as conducting analysis of the local regulatory environment.
Daisuke joined CBRE Investment Management in 2006 as a member of the Asia-Pacific real estate team. His responsibilities included analyzingand modelingof over 60 real estate operating companies and REITs listed in Japan, fundamental analysis of the local property and capital markets, as well as assessment of macroeconomic conditions in Japan.
Daisuke also has been active in taking roles in local industry groups, such as becoming a committee member of a research group for better corporate disclosure at the Association for Real Estate Securitization of Japan (ARES).
Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Daisuke worked at ING Mutual Funds Management Company (Japan), where he was responsible for fixed income research including credit analysis of the utilities companies, derivatives trading, and equity quantitative analysis.
