Casey Kuroda is a Director within CBRE Investment’s Americas Development Team, as well as Head of Construction Management for the Americas Real Estate Division. Casey joined CBRE Investment Management in 2022 and is based in the Los Angeles office. His current responsibilities include conducting due diligence on new projects, ensuring compliance with environmental and municipal regulations, negotiating contracts with stakeholders, implementing sustainability principles and overseeing design and construction activities.
Casey started in the industry in 2007 at Turner Construction, where he honed his skills in design, preconstruction, constructability means and methods and risk management. Leveraging his extensive experience as a general contractor, he pivoted to the developer role as a VP for Lowe Enterprises in 2015.
Casey spearheaded multiple commercial development projects in various phases of design and construction. He was instrumental in the completion of $2.1 billion in construction volume within the public and private sectors during his tenure at previous companies.
Casey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University. He actively participates in community revival efforts, volunteering at Habitat for Humanity and Rebuild Together. He is an active member in the industry associations NAIOP, ULI and NAREIM.
