Professional Experience
Carrie Jia is a Director on CBRE Investment Management’s Client Solutions team in Mainland China. Based in Shanghai, she is responsible for capital raising and developing client relationships with Chinese and foreign investors investing both in and outside of Mainland China. She also manages corporate communications and coordination with local authorities.
Carrie joined CBRE Investment Management in 2016. She began her career in the financial industry in 2008 and pivoted to the real estate industry in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Carrie worked in the Shanghai Financial Services Office for two years, where she assisted in designing the QDLP program and held a supervisory role. She has also worked in HSBC China and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Shanghai Finance and Economics University and a Master of Science degree in Finance and Investment from Durham University. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
