Professional Experience
Alexander van Riel is Head of EMEA, Indirect Real Estate Strategies for CBRE Investment Management. Based in Amsterdam, Alexander is responsible for the relationship and portfolio management of clients, investment sourcing, selection and monitoring of investments across the region.
Alexander has been in the European property investment industry since 1999. He took up his current role in June 2006. Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Alexander was an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Achmea in Amsterdam and Aberdeen Property Investors in Stockholm.
Alexander earned a Masters degree in Spatial Science from Rijks-Universiteit Groningen and is a CFA charter holder.
