CBRE Investment Management Appoints Tania Tsoneva to Lead Global Infrastructure Research Capabilities

Appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to deliver sustainable real assets solutions

Tania Tsoneva has joined CBRE Investment Management as Senior Director - Global Infrastructure Research. In this role, Tania will be responsible for leading the platform’s infrastructure research efforts globally, supporting the firm’s private and public infrastructure teams and the wider multi-asset solutions effort.

Tania joins CBRE Investment Management from S&P Global Ratings, a leading global credit rating agency. There, she was most recently a Director and Lead Analyst within the Infrastructure Ratings team with responsibility for some of the largest issuers globally within the toll road, airport and rail sectors. Throughout her 14-year tenure within S&P, Tania held several senior positions within the Infrastructure and Utilities team and served as the leading EMEA corporate hybrid specialist. In these roles she focused on credit risk assessment, client relationship and criteria development for a range of infrastructure companies, including UK and European regulated water and network companies, as well as merchant and renewable generators.

A native Bulgarian speaker, Tania started her career in corporate relationship management at ProCredit Bank (Bulgaria) JSC.

Tania has a BSc in Business Administration and Politics and International Relations from the American University in Bulgaria and an MBA from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass). She is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
