CBRE Global Investors Expands Credit Strategies Platform

CBRE Global Investors announced today that Todd Sammann has joined the firm as an Executive Managing Director to lead the Credit Strategies platform in the Americas.
Sammann, a leader in real estate finance, joins the firm from Narrative Capital Management, which he founded in 2015. Prior to forming Narrative Capital, Sammann was a Principal and Head of Credit Strategies at Colony Capital from 2008-2015. Previously, Mr. Sammann was Head of U.S. Large Loan CMBS at Deutsche Bank from 2002-2008 and Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1996-2002. During his 20-plus-year career he has deployed more than $50 billion across a variety of debt strategies and investment vehicles and has launched and led specialty finance companies.

Sammann will be joined by colleagues from Narrative with extensive experience in real estate credit investment and management, including Charles Kim and Ed Paje in Los Angeles and Christian Fuqua and Eric Anderson in New York.
