Stephen Gullo is the Head of CBRE Investment Management's Americas Residential Operator Division. Stephen is responsible for the investment efforts in the apartment sector and maintains an active role overseeing the operations and disposition of investments. Since joining the firm in 2009, Stephen has led the acquisition of $5.5 billion of residential properties on behalf of six funds and six separate accounts. Over that same time frame, the Residential Team has also committed to $2.8 billion of ground-up residential development on behalf of five development funds. Stephen is a voting member of the Americas Direct Real Estate Investment Committee for residential transactions and a member of the Senior Leadership Council.
Stephen began his career in the real estate industry in 2001. Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Stephen was a Partner and Vice President of Acquisitions for Berkshire Property Advisors. Prior to that, he was a Senior Analyst in the Multifamily Capital Transactions Group for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and its successor purchaser Morgan Stanley.
Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. He is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council and Up for Growth, a non-profit housing advocacy organization.
