Justin Shanahan

Justin Shanahan is Deputy Portfolio Manager for the firm’s U.S. core strategy.

His current responsibilities include investment strategy formation, asset valuations, transactions and asset management oversight, capital raising and client servicing. Justin is one of the founding team members of the core strategy and has been integral in the success of the platform.

Justin joined CBRE Investment Management in 2014. He previously served as Director of Portfolio Management for the Americas Direct Real Estate platform and as an Associate on the Commercial Transactions team dedicated to the core strategy.

Justin is an active member of NCREIF and is the Vice Chair of the ODCE Inclusion Policy Committee. He is also involved in the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, setting priorities around culture, recruitment and volunteerism.

Justin earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from the University of Pennsylvania.
