Joseph Mancuso is a Managing Director and Head of Commercial Asset Management for CBRE Investment Management’s Americas Direct Real Estate business. In this capacity, he manages the Americas Commercial Asset Management team, provides leadership for the programs and technologies used in the operation and administration of commercial assets, reviews budgets and business plans and is responsible for risk management. Additionally, Joseph is directly responsible for select assets on behalf of commingled funds and separate account clients.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Joseph served as an Assistant Vice President at Amstar Global Advisors with responsibility for the acquisition and asset management of a $300 million international development portfolio.
Prior to this, Joseph served as an Investment Manager at AIG Global Real Estate with responsibility for the acquisition and asset management of value-add and opportunistic investments, with a particular focus on the residential asset class.
Joseph has significantly contributed to the underwriting and closing of over $5.0 billion of direct investments and joint ventures over the course of his career, which began in 2002.
Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University. He is an active member of the Cornell Real Estate Council and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
