Joseph Mancuso is Head of Commercial Asset Management for the Americas Direct Real Estate business. In this capacity, he manages the Americas Commercial Asset Management team, provides leadership for the programs and technologies used in the operation and administration of firm assets, reviews budgets and business plans and is responsible for risk management. Additionally, Joe is a portfolio manager for a sovereign wealth separate account client and is responsible for asset management of select assets across the Northeast on behalf of commingled funds and separate account clients.
Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management in 2010, Joe served as an Assistant Vice President at Amstar Global Advisors with responsibility for the acquisition and asset management of a $300 million international development portfolio. Prior to this, Joe served as an Investment Manager at AIG Global Real Estate with responsibility for the acquisition and asset management of value-add and opportunistic investments, with a particular focus on the multifamily asset class. Joe has significantly contributed to the underwriting and closing of over $2.5 billion of direct investments and joint ventures over the course of his career.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University's Stern School of Business. He is an active member of the Cornell Real Estate Council and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
