Experience
Eric Brilman serves as General Counsel EMEA, based at the firm's Schiphol office. He oversees all legal matters for the EMEA region; develops and implements regional legal planning; and monitors transactional execution at the fund level. As a member of the EMEA Operations Committee and the EMEA Investment Committee, Eric works with European senior management and business leaders to provide advice on the implementation of strategic and tactical objectives and business plans.
Eric joined CBRE Investment Management in August 2017. Prior to joining the company, he served as Deputy Chief Counsel for Aon plc’s EMEA Risk businesses and held several senior counsel roles in the Corporate Finance and insurance sectors. He has also worked as an attorney for the law firms Loyens & Loeff and Ploum Lodder Princen.
Eric obtained LLM degrees from University College London and from Leiden University in The Netherlands. He is an attorney registered with the Dutch Bar.
