Dhananjai (DJ) is a Fund Manager responsible for portfolio management and investments in the residential sector. DJ joined the firm in 2007 in the indirect real estate strategies business overseeing global investment portfolios, managed portfolios worth over £1.0 billion. He structured a number of investment strategies, joint ventures and programmatic ventures overseeing a wide range of investments across the alternatives sectors including residential, long-income, debt and the commercial property spectrum.

Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, DJ served with English Partnerships as Senior Investment Manager focusing on developing national housing and urban development / regeneration programs including the First Time Buyers Initiative (national shared-ownership portfolio), Surplus Public Sector Land initiative, Community Land Trusts and acquisition and funding of mixed-use, housing and development schemes with major developers. Previously, DJ worked for Thames Gateway London Partnership (Dept. for Communities and Local Government) on one of the largest regeneration projects in Europe.

DJ holds a Masters of Science in Real Estate Investments, and Urban Economics from University College London and is a trained Architect. DJ is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Investment Property Forum and is approved by the FCA. He is a Certified Person under the FCA’s Senior Managers Certification Regime.
