Cilian McHugh is an Investment Director within EMEA Credit Strategies at CBRE Investment Management, focusing on the origination and execution of debt investments in value-add and opportunistic business plans.
Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management in 2020, Cilian spent three years with the Real Estate business of Intermediate Capital Group, underwriting and executing investments across the capital structure for the company’s higher return real estate fund series.
Previously, he spent over 10 years at the Royal Bank of Scotland (based in London and Dublin) in various origination and structuring roles for its Real Estate Finance and Structured Real Estate Finance groups, transacting and distributing senior and mezzanine real estate debt investments.
Cilian joined the real estate finance industry in 2005, after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Business Studies from Dublin Business School.
