Globally diversified infrastructure portfolios: The benefits of a multi-region approach

In this paper, we review recent trends in infrastructure capital allocation to see whether investors have turned a corner from a multi-to a single-region approach. We contend that geographically diversified portfolios in infrastructure can optimize portfolio returns and smooth the vulnerability to global shocks and market events.
