The Asset Manager (“AM”) will be responsible for asset management of direct real estate investments across core, core plus and value-add investment strategies.  AM will have primary responsibility to execute business plans and maximize investment returns.  Responsibilities to: 

  • Partner with acquisition team to develop underwriting, investment strategy and close new investments
  • Create annual business plans and budget, in concert with property management team
  • Execute marketing, leasing, renovation and capital objectives from acquisition through disposition
  • Quarterly valuation and annual hold/sell analysis

The Asset Manager will work towards the development, coordination, and evaluation of initiatives that create value at an asset through capital deployment, expense reduction, revenue generation, or strategic implementation. While many responsibilities will be typical to the industry, our unique approach will require creativity and high-level performance from underwriting to acquisition through execution and disposition. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defines and executes business plans of assigned assets in accordance with portfolio strategy; and modifies strategies as needed based on operating results, market fundamentals and changing investor objectives.
  • Manages marketing and leasing efforts in order optimize rent roll characteristics.
  • Monitors cash flow, distributions and returns.
  • Create strategies and communicate recommendations to maximize total return for each asset and increase property values over time; coordinate and execute successful asset dispositions and refinance transactions.
  • Manage relationships with equity partners by providing detailed reports, market updates, and financial analysis on the performance of the portfolio.
  • Successfully partner with property management and leasing teams; interface with various third parties including project management professionals, tax consultants and marketing personnel. 
  • Review financial reporting and variance analysis and coordinate with accounting personnel to ensure that financial statements are accurately presented.
  • Perform asset-level valuation reviews and hold-sell analysis as needed, including gathering market data, reviewing property performance, and measuring each asset against its budgets and goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides training and oversight to junior team members.
An additional requirement for this role is the ability to comply with COVID-19 health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination proof and/or rigorous testing.


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree is desirable but not required. 
  • Minimum of 6 – 8 years of real estate acquisitions and/or asset management experience with particular focus on logistics properties
  • Skilled in advanced Excel and Argus financial modeling.
  • Collaborative work style and ability to work in a team to achieve goals. 
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple concurrent projects with an ability to independently identify and solve key business problems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to present ideas persuasively and defend in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
