  • Provide support with portfolio construction, on-going monitoring of the portfolios and reporting to clients through production of quarterly reports and client presentations;
  • Responsible for client investment data in client investment plan and databases;
  • Track relevant data for client performance and investment performance;
  • Assist with responses to global clients’ information requests;
  • Participate in fund monitoring and the review of investment proposals, develop an understanding of the forecast returns for individual investments and awareness of relevant issues that may impact portfolios.
  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Assisting with portfolio management activities of a number of fund assets:
      • Assisting in the oversight of logistics operator team performance against business plans
      • Assisting in on-going monitoring of development projects, including where undertaken with third party developers, to ensure delivery on-time and on-budget
      • Assisting in formulating asset business plans and ensuring accurate modelling of business plans by asset managers
    • Assisting with new transactions for the fund:
      • Reviewing underwriting from CBRE IM transaction managers and development partners
      • Assessing impact of new transactions on fund returns, strategy and sector/country weightings
      • Assisting in preparation of Investment Committee materials
      • Assisting in transaction execution for the fund
    • Overall responsibility for fund modelling and reporting, including:
      • Maintenance of the portfolio model in Anaplan
      • Integration to the portfolio model of asset level Anaplan modelling from asset and transaction managers
      • Preparation of quarterly and annual reporting materials in conjunction with the portfolio and financing teams
      • Coordination of the quarterly valuation process
    • Supporting ongoing fund-raising efforts. As the fund is open-ended capital raising is expected to be continuous and requirements include:
      • Updating investor return projections
      • Assisting with the assembly and continuous updating of fund-raising materials including strategy documents and pitch decks

    Job Requirements:

    • Background or education in real estate investment/advisory or corporate finance/private equity with up to 3 years of relevant work experience
    • Advanced financial modeling skills
    • Strong academic background
    • Prior experience in the logistics or data centre sectors is preferred but not essential
    • Fluency in English is required, ability to speak additional European language(s) preferred but not essential
    • Willingness to travel (subject to national and corporate safe travel policies)
